Excellent reporting. OOXML smells like yet another Microsoft scam to foist their software onto government computers. The question remains, when there are already many standards for documents, drawing languages, etc., why does Microsoft continue to reinvent its Office formats, and will they continue to do so? Will OOXML be just another past Office format, as they leave it behind and move on to yet another, proprietary format?
